In the very early 1990's, Jeffrey Dahmer was a serial killer was arrested upon many counts of murder including strangulation, necophilia, and cannibalism. The police seized his apartment as he was arrested upon seeing the remains of his victims. Pictures of dismembered limbs were hung up in the bathroom. A human heart was found in the freezer.
But besides the pictures of the dead victims, the police also found something else that is not widely talked about.
In the apartment, there were one or two video tapes found in Dahmer's bedroom. Upon proving evidence for the murders they were watched. However, the nature was very revolting and no one has been specific upon reporting it. It was so disgusting and horrifying that the report said not much more than "He tortured and murdered the victim in cold blood." But from the remains of what the viewers leaked to other people, there arose some details of what the tapes were like.
Some of the details have been lost or possibly changed to a minimum. But the gist of it is still clear. Here is what happens during one of the tapes.
Nothing happens until the 24 minute mark when the camera is panning around the apartment. The date reads May 20, 1990. Presumably the filmer is Dahmer. He just pans around the apartment intending to show the basic layout. After five minutes of showing the bedroom, bathroom, living room, and kitchen, he walks over to a window and films a man walking down the sidewalk toward his direction. He keeps the camera on him for about 20 seconds before putting it down and you can hear the sound of footsteps walking away towards the door. Static takes over again for 30 seconds.
The next shot is Dahmer talking to an African American male. The date reads May 24, 1990. The sound quality is majorly diminished due to the old age of the tapes and bad condition of the camera. The voices sound somewhat monotone with the occasional "yeah" and "yes" that can be audible. When the conversation ends, the tape goes back to static 10 seconds after.
The next shot becomes disturbing and unnerving very quickly.
The next shot is dark and hard to see. But from what can be best seen from it, Dahmer can be seen sodomizing the other man. A very strange abnormal moaning and groaning can be heard. It is even more unpleasant and dreadful due to the bad sound quality. The date remains the same as May 24, 1990. One of them sounded as if they were in pain. Dahmer puts his hand to the camera and it cuts to static again for a brief moment.
Very shortly, the camera is cut to the bathroom where Dahmer and the other man are. There is enough light to see clearly. Dahmer is seen strangling the man with a thin strap of leather. Dahmer is wearing an unbuttoned shirt and the other man is fully naked. The man is producing a light groaning noise from time to time. At those points, Dahmer seems to be loosening up the grip from the leather strap. This continues on for about 28 minutes with the man occasionally gagging uncontrollably. The gagging is loud enough to make the camera microphone produce a fizzing sound. After the 28 minutes, Dahmer loosens up and the man proceeds to violently vomit into the toilet. Dahmer seems to be watching with no negative reaction, seeming somewhat satisfied. He turns, looks to the camera, and grabs it. It cuts to static again.
After about 12 seconds, Dahmer is hunched over the man's body which is presumably dead. It is laying in the bathtub. His throat is cut and he is not bleeding profusely. Dahmer is holding a small kitchen knife. He brings it to the corpse's penis and begins adjusting for the cut. Before he can slice, the camera falls off its post and the tape rolls frames for 5 seconds. It then goes back to static.
32 seconds pass and we can see that the corpse has been gutted from underneath the rib cages. The skin on the outside is missing and bloody. The corpse's body is hollow and all entrails have been evacuated from the body. Dahmer finishes removing the rest of the blood and steps back, his hands dripping with guts. He takes an object from the sink and stands still for a few seconds. A flash can be seen. He must have taken a picture of the dead body with a camera. He then proceeds to douse the body with a liquid from a large container. It proves to be acid as the body begins to dissolve. This continues for five minutes and the remains are left in the tub. The rest of the tape is static.
People tend to question the video tape's authenticity to whether it is true or not. But if done research, the video dates add up to the incident of that night. The other man was Eddie Smith, age 27. He was murdered on May 24, 1990. There is a picture of the of the corpse that can be found online. That picture is the same picture Dahmer took in the video.
