Who remembers Jay Jay The Jet Plane. It was a children's show that lasted from 1998 - 2005. It was meant for 2 - 7 year olds. The last time I saw the show was back in 2002 on Treehouse. I recently hung out with my best friends and one of them brought up some of the old kids shows back in the 2000s. I felt childhood nostalgia and went looking for and DVDs or tapes of the show. All the DVDs I found on the internet were all overpriced, so I looked for Jay Jay on Ebay. I found a bunch of tapes on Ebay for reasonable prices, so I ordered 5 tapes. I ordered A Season To Share, Forever Friends, Together Teamwork, Super Sonic Jay Jay, and Loop De Loop. 2 weeks after I ordered the tapes, 4 of the 5 tapes came. The only one I didn't get was Forever Friends. I sent a message to the seller and watched the tapes I got. I enjoyed all of the episodes. After watching the tapes, I got a message from the seller. He said that there was a problem with the shipping and he would send the tape as soon as possible. 3 weeks later I got the tape. The only problem was that the tape wasn't in the normal VHS case. It was in a plain white case with black marker written on it. It said Jay Jay The Jet Plane: Friends on the front of the case. I pulled out the VHS and it has the title written in crayon. It's the same title from the front of the case. I was very skeptical about what could be on the tape. I put the tape in the player even though I was scared. It opened with the FBI warning. The only difference was that the FBI warnings background was red instead of blue. It than went to a couple of trailers. The Trailers were for All Grown Up and Spongebob Squarepants. After the trailers the first episode started. The first scene was the opening. The opening was normal unlike what was coming soon on the tape. The first episode's name was "Friends Make Mistakes". I haven't ever heard of that episode. The episode was about Jay Jay being left out of Montana's party. She says that she forgot to invite him at the end of the episode. After the credits rolled, the tv turned to static. The static lasted for 5 minutes. After the static went away, the second episode started. The opening for the second episode was a little distorted. The audio for the opening was filled with static. The title of the second episode was "Friends Have Feelings". The plot of the episode was that Jay Jay makes his friends mad by calling them names avoiding them. At the end of the episode, Jay Jay flies away from his friends and leaves the airstrip. After the second episode ended, the screen does what it did right after the first episode. The static lasted for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, the third episode started. The opening was very distorted this time. The name of the third episode was "Friends Never Forget". The episode started with Jay Jay flying in the air. He looked down and saw the ocean. Jay Jay then nosedives into the Ocean. An underwater explosion happens and the next scene starts. The next scene is all of Jay Jay's friends remembering him. Montana than says that its all her fault why this happened. The episode ended after that. The tape had 10 minutes of extra footage. The first 5 minutes was a picture of Jay Jay with a message under it. The message said Jay Jay RIP 1996 - 2016. The weird thing about it was that it was 2016. I went and looked for the seller on Ebay and found the Profile. The Friends tape was the only one i got from this page. A message was in the message board. The message said "I will be closing this page on June 16th. So all of my items are on sale". Its January of 2016. I ordered several more tapes to do more investigating. The Ebay page is called "Red Balloon Media". Don't go looking for it, but if you do don't order anything unless you are very curious. None of the tapes are the real episodes or films. They are all bootlegs. The other tapes i ordered were all Nick Jr Cartoons and other cartoons from my child hood. I'll update when i get the other tapes.

I finally got those tapes. The tapes I got were Nanalan, Maggie and the Ferocious Beast, Oobi, and Fresh Beat Band. I chose to watch the Oobi tape first. Oobi was a hand with googly eyes on it. The tape opened with the normal Nick Jr opening. After that there were 3 trailers. The trailers were for Dora The Explorer, Go Diego Go, and Blues Clues. The trailers were all normal. Nothing was out of the ordinary until the Oobi episodes actually started. Instead of Oobi being a peach coloured hand, he was red and it looked like he had little horns on his head. The first episode was called "Don't Play With Scissors". The episode began with Oobi cutting out a picture. Oobi looked at the camera and said "Never play with scissors. You could really hurt yourselves. Then it showed children dropping scissors on the ground. One of the pairs of scissors almost hit a kids foot. Oobi said to the camera "See kids?! Don't EVER play with scissors!!!". Oobi sounded angry. He walked away from the camera and a creepy laugh of a child could be heard in the background. The episode ended. The tv went to the normal blue screen that means the tape was finished. "Thats weird!" I thought. "The tape said it had 4 episodes on it. That was only one." Suddenly the tape started again. Episode 2 flashes on the screen. The title for episode 2 was "Oobi and his bath". The episode is just Oobi singing "Rain Rain Go Away" for repeatedly. After 5 minutes it ended. I was creeped out so i went to my friend Herman's house and told him about the tapes. He let me stay at his house and he said that he wanted to go to my house the next day and watch the tapes with me. We played some Wii and I fell asleep on his couch right after.

Its the next day. Herman and I drove to my place. The previous night, I couldn't stop thinking of the tapes. Herman and I got to my house. I showed him the two previous tapes I already viewed. "Thats creepy. We should watch some more." Said Herman. I popped in the Nanalan tape. Nanalan was a puppet show from the early 2000s. The trailers on this tape were for films way too inappropriate for pre schoolers and toddlers. The tape box said it had 6 episodes on it. The first episode was called "Butterfly". The episode had the main little girl character chasing a butterfly. The episode ended with the little girl's grandma opening the door and squishing the butterfly. The little started crying and the episode credits rolled. "Thats a little intense for preschoolers." Said Herman. Herman and I were unsettled. The next episode's name was "Untitled". The episode started out with the little girl licking a lollypop. The grandma came out and talked to the girl and took her lollypop. It was hard to understand, but Herman and I both agree she said "Lollypops aren't good for you". The episode ended with the little walking out of the backyard moaping. The tv went to the blue screen again. "I thought it said that there was 6 episodes" said Herman. I told him that the exact same thing happened with the Oobi VHS. We decided to watch another VHS. We put in the Fresh Beat Band tape. This show was after both of our child days. Fresh Beat Band was a musical kids show. The difference with this tape was that when i put it in the machine, it made a weird grinding sound. We chose to put in another tape. We put in the Ferocious beast tape. The trailers were normal for a kids VHS. The generic Little People, Dora type stuff. The problem with this tape was that the only thing on the tape itself was The Trailers. "We should go find out where this guy makes these tapes so that we can go give him a piece of our minds." Shouted Herman. I agreed with him and we found his ebay page. We found his address and decided to go there the next day. Herman stayed at my house and we watched some Twilight Zone and Pee Wee's Playhouse on Netflix and fell asleep.

We hopped into my car and went through a drive thru to get some food. 1 hour later we got to the house. It was just an abandoned house. We went to the basement and found a room full of used VHS tapes. We found a box and put as many tapes as we could fit into the box. We went back to the car and put it in the back. A man ran out of the house. He had long black hair, a beard, and a gun. The man yelled at us. "Get out of my house or ill beat the crap out of you!!!" We got into the car and drove away. Luckily, the man did not see our faces or licence plate. We went back to my house and unloaded the tapes. We stored them on an empty shelf in my house. "Lets examine these tapes and report them if they are weird or creepy." Said Herman. I told him that the ebay page was closing on June 16th.

Herman and I have been examining the tapes for a few months now. We have found some pretty weird and creepy stuff on those tapes. I went to the ebay page and there was a new message. It said that the guy was reopening the page. There were very happy comments from parents who were looking for tapes for their children. Herman and I had to stop him before he ruined the lives of innocent children
