Regular Show: Fiction

Studios really love to hide secrets from many of their workers. Mostly because there's a folder containing lost footage of some of their most famous shows. That folder is locked away in a Safe somewhere in the Studio, so none of the employees know about it.

The folder supposedly contains a lost episode of TAWOG, some deleted scenes from Adventure time, and a lost pilot episode of a certain show. How do i know all of this? Because my american friend managed to sneak into the Studio and steal the Safe without anyone noticing. He says that he's one of the most famous spies in the country, and he has no problem with breaking the law. I asked him about the footage, and he says that he found several lost episodes of MAD, TAWOG, and a lost pilot episode of Regular Show.

At the time, Regular Show was one of my favourite cartoons and i had seen almost every single episode. I asked my friend if he could send the folder via the Mail, and he said that he couldn't. Mostly because we live in completely different countries. That, and the nearest post office is approximately 300 miles from his home. I asked him if he could provide me with any screenshots, and he said that he couldn't do that either. It was apparently "top secret" stuff and if the images surfaced online, he could be in a lot of legal trouble. However, he did provide me with lots of information about the episode. He sent me an email a few days later, describing the plot.

Here's what the email says:

"Since i can't provide with any more information about the episode, i'm just gonna tell you exactly what happens in it. Fiction is the name of the episode, and at first glance you'd think that it would be about Mordecai and Rigby making a cartoon. It isn't. It starts with Mordecai mowing the lawn, he also appears to be talking to Rigby on the phone. I can't recall what they were saying, but i believe it was about how much of a Pushover Benson was. In the background, you could hear very faint sounds of wind and chirping birds. The conversation seemed to last for about 4 minutes before a very audible deep voice could be heard.

"Aren't you supposed to be working?" The voice said.

Mordecai completely ignored what the voice was saying, and he continued to talk to Rigby. The deep voice spoke again.

"Mordecai, did you hear me? aren't you supposed to be working?"

Mordecai looked behind him. He did hear the voice, but he didn't know whose voice it was.

The voice spoke again

"I'm right in front of you"

Mordecai turned to face the camera, he was now physically shaking. The camera didn't focus on what was in front of him, but by the looks of it, he wasn't looking at anything pretty. According to various sources, Mordecai was looking at a face completely surrounded by black smoke. However, that hasn't been confirmed just yet.

Mordecai started to hyperventilate and shake, he couldn't believe what he was hearing. He thought that he was just seeing things, so he closed his eyes for a solid 10 seconds before opening them again. The voice continued to speak:

"This isn't a dream, this is reality."

He started to scratch his head, he had a confused expression on his face. He didn't know what was happening, and he couldn't believe that it wasn't a dream. Mordecai started to walk around the park, and he couldn't see any of the other workers. Not even his best friend, Rigby.

The voice spoke again:

"Do you know where they went?"

He shook his head in disbelief and fear. Mordecai could feel his body getting weaker and weaker by the second, he started to wave his arms around. Then he stared at the camera with a nervous expression.

The voice spoke:

"Do you wanna know the truth behind all of this?"

Mordecai didn't respond. He ran up the stairs to the room where him and Rigby would usually hang out. Much to his dismay, the room was completely empty. He felt guilty for some reason.

The voice spoke again:

"Do you want to survive in this reality?"

Mordecai still didn't respond, he ran around the room with a shocked expression on his face. After a few minutes, he fell to his knees and sobbed.

The voice spoke again, this time in a much more agitated tone:

"What did you do?!"

Mordecai spoke his first line of the episode:

"Nothing"

The voice responded with "Then why did they leave?"

"I DON'T KNOW!" Mordecai screamed. He faced the camera again, this time with a much more saddened expression on his face. He felt his face, then he touched his eyes with his fingers. The voice spoke yet again:

"Let me tell you something, this is fiction. It isn't reality, your parents aren't real. Nor are your friends, you're just an animated character in a fictional cartoon. This is a totally different reality from the reality we have on earth."

"What do you mean?" Mordecai said through coughs and sobs.

"I mean, you're not real. Life is just an illusion, your mind is made out of mush and goo. Life is suffering, eternal suffering. You know how some people commit suicide? the reason why they do that is because they're tired of the tragedy that is Life itself. There's no such thing as an afterlife, you'll just be dead for eternity."

A giant cloud of smoke started to engulf the room Mordecai was in. Mordecai started to explore the black mist. He made his way slowly down the stairs. He could see a humanoid face staring at him, the face seemed to resemble some sort of Demon. He started to poke the face, but he couldn't feel anything. It was just one of the illusions that Life has to offer. Mordecai continued his Journey through the black mist, and he could see his past. He could see himself being born, he could see himself learning to ride a bike, he could even see himself marrying Margaret. But that'll never happen, because in one of the episodes Margaret got into her dream school and told Mordecai that she can't be his Girlfriend.

He started to feel a little woozy, and his body started to get weak. His face started to melt off, and his flesh started to melt into goo. The screen cut to black, and the voice said the final line of the episode:

"Remember kiddies, life isn't real. It's just a dream, it's all just a dream."

The episode ended with the normal credits. Meanwhile, i was bewildered at what i had just watched. Now i know why they don't want anyone to see the footage, because it's genuinely pretty shocking. Anyway, i really need to go now. I have some tasks to do. See ya later"

Ever since i read the email, i've been on a desperate hunt for the footage. Since i couldn't find any episode titled "Fiction" on the Regular Show Wikia, it's most likely that the hunt for the episode with be very long. If someone can find it by 2025, that would be excellent.

Unfortunately, the episode is still in a safe. My friend had put it back inside of it and he had also completely locked it. He had given it back to the studio, and now he doesn't watch cartoons anymore.

If i find an image of the episode, i won't hesitate to post it online. Even if i'm technically breaking the law.
