Roblox: Your Turn

Hey, you play ROBLOX? That game where you can pace around, fight with friends, and build? It's a massively online multiplayer game. There are millions of users and games that other users built for you.

My favorite game of all time was a game called sword fighting tournament. I was a good swordfighter and I often brawled with my favorite sword, The Golden? Katana. No one could beat me, even the ones who claimed to be the best in ROBLOX.

As always, I would start the ROBLOX player up, then play sword fighting tournament. However, that one day I saw a game that attracted my interest. It had 940 players playing it, and it was in russian. I later translated it, and this is what came out ; "Your Game".

I played it, and was brought into what seemed like a corroded metalic lobby. Players were running around and chatting things about what they were supposed to do. I didn't know either because there really wasn't anything there, just the walls.

On the spur of the moment, a pop up message covered the whole screen. It read "Your turn!" The message finally disappeared and I could finally see my virtual character. All of the players seemed to have been teleported to a 1930s sort of town. All of the buildings were made of brick, but other than that there really wasn't anything appealing to me. While the other players where chatting away about something else, I went to explore. The brick building that was closest to me had an eerie feeling, it was almost if it was right in front of me in real life. I entered through the door and found the most grotesque looking ROBLOX corpse ever. It might've been created with computer graphics, but It looked too much like a real man.

Blood was constantly squirting out of the corpse, and eventually my avatar was covered entirely by blood. Even though I was shaken a bit, a decided to explore a bit further. The next room had a CG person pinning nails into a naked woman. The naked woman was pinned onto the wall by a screw driver that was sticking out of her stomach. The CG person, throwing the nails pulled her entrails out and starting eating it. At that moment, the woman suddenly looked straight toward me. Her eyes were fixed onto my virtual character and was following me everywhere I went.

When I noticed that I had a tool in my backpack, I was horrified. The tool was called "use". I didn't know what it did, so I equipped it and clicked on the woman. The woman immediately stopped following me around and stopped as still as a statue. She was pointing to the right.

Out of curiosity, I marched to the right. The right had a large room with stairs. By stairs I don't mean normal stairs. These stairs were all corroded and had the best graphics I had ever seen on a computer game. As I went down the stairs, I occasionaly saw a long haird woman who stared at me for a couple of seconds, then abruptly disappeared. I finally reached the end of the stairs, and the room was lit up.

All of the other players who had teleported along with me were tied up. The woman with long hair untied the rope as I heard the other players chat "STOP!" and "NOOOOOOOOOOOO!". All of the other players equipped a real looking gun at the same time, and pointed it at their heads.

Even though I had the sound turned off, I could hear the gunshot that killed them. They were all scattered across the floor, with a pool of blood forming around their corpses. They weren't chatting anymore even though they hadn't even left.

A pop up message covered up my screen again, this time it read "You are the survivor!". The ROBLOX window automatically closed after that, leaving me wondering who would make such a weird game.

Later that day, I saw the Fox Channel. The news reporter said

"... all 9 people were found dead in front of a computer monitor. The computer was running a game called ROBLOX. The cause of death is a likely shot to the head, yet detectives do not know how the same bullet kind was lodged into each person at the same exact time."
