Sammy

Sammy was a normal child. He would always be polite, always the type of kid to hold the door open for a stranger. It was this politeness that caused his murder.

One day- a foggy day- Sammy was out taking a walk when someone- or something- pulled up to him in a car. Sammy asked why he was here, and the man said, "My tire has gone flat! Do you think you could take me to a place where I can get it replaced?" Sammy, being the polite kid he was, said yes. Little did Sammy know, this was his biggest mistake yet. Sammy had had a couple of close calls over the years, but this was the time he wouldn't recover. So, the man got of his car and started walking with Sammy to the car repair shop. Out of the corner of his eye, Sammy realized none of his tires were flat. The man said to Sammy, "You know, you're a real nice kid, Sammy..." Sammy jumped back, surprised. "H-How did you know my name?" Asked Sammy. The man replied, "Oh Sammy, I know everything about you. You just fell for my trap," It was then when the man pulled out his knife and stabbed Sammy in the stomach. Sammy, gasping for air frantically asked, "Why are you doing this?!" The man said, "Oh Sammy, the world is a terrible place. Nobody is EVER safe!" As Sammy lay there, bleeding out thinking What did I do to deserve this? As if reading Sammy's mind, the man said "Sammy, I am your father."

Sammy died later in the hospital from blood loss. Everybody came to the funeral, even Sammy's murder. To this day, Sammy's father has not been caught or even suspected of killing him.
