Sonic Adventure 2 Elttab
I love sonic. LOVE sonic, because as you'd expect, I grew up with the spikey hedgehog. But as of today, I no longer look at the game. SA2 scarred me to death because of this..
I started up my chao garden, and to my dismay, I heard the dying song. One of my chao had died... wait... no! None of my chao died. I took a double take at my chao roster... nope, nothing. All my chao were there. So I left the garden, thinking nothing of the incident. That is until, I came back about an hour later. WHAT THE HELL?! I heard the song once more! And thats when it happened. I looked on the ground, and saw an egg... it was red and black. It had a strange design on it... like it was bleeding... I threw the egg at the wall, and it burst open. It revealed a mangled chao body. It's head was twisted around it's body. It had one of those terrifying smiles. I ran out of the garden, and another promt opened up, with Sonic saying, "DID YOU INSERT A MEMORY CARD?" I looked at the screen... horrified... I kept on going, pressing 'A' to move on. Another prompt opened up, but instead was no voice, but an orange box that had the text, 'WHY DID YOU DO IT?!' I stepped into the transporter, and then warped out. I went into the world map... the ocean was red. All of the character's mugshots had a bloodied face of a smiling chao, looking with daggers at me... I screamed and shut the game off. I later turned it back on... and the only save file was of Knuckles, with 999:99 Hours put into it. I don't know why I did it... why I turned the game back on in the first place... but I pressed on... the title screen had battle spelled backwards... and I played a level of the game, really had no choice to as the game immidiately thrust me into the level. I started in pumpkin hill with... 999 rings. I collected most of the emerald pieces in the level and had 1 more to collect. As I found the last emerald, knuckles played the drowning animation... no music. Omochao came out of nowhere, a text box popped up and almost never ended.

It kept saying that. Knuckles then started writhing in pain, as his head slid off and flew off the cliff. I was scarred for life. Another text box opened up... 'I don't know why this happened... please... help me before it's too late...' Fuck! Fuck it! I yelled for a couple minutes... until the screen went white. Then I heard the sound of a chao drowning. I the realised that I could walk around. I was sonic, and just as I began to see a chao on the horizon, an image of sonic's mutilated head flashed on the screen. It stayed there for five perpetual seconds.
I have never played another sonic game again...
