Sonic Free Riders to the Death

All my friends had a new copy of Sonic Free Riders for the Xbox kinect. I had a kinect, so I decided to buy a cheap bootleg copy off eBay. Okay, this was my FIRST mistake.

It arrived in the mail about a week later, with a note attached. The note read:

Dear whom it may concern,

Please, for your own safety, destroy this game immediately! If you don't, you will be trapped like me...

Regards, Sam.

This was quite creepy, but stupid me had to throw that note away and take no notice to it at all. Second mistake.

I was so excited. I opened the case straight away.

The cover looked reasonably normal, but the disc was a different story. The characters had red eyes and what appeared to be blood tripping from their mouths.

I thought, "Meh, some little kids got textas and drawn on the disc.

In went the disc and the opening song started playing as usual. Well, maybe not usually. I was playing air guitar to this song until I heard the singer say, "Ohhhh, Sonics dead, in the wind in the wind" instead of the real lyrics. This stopped me for a while, but then I quit the song and started paying... Third mistake, big, big mistake.

I picked my character, (Jet, naturally.) but it didn't let me pick a stage.

I thought this was pretty weird. The screen went black for about 10 seconds, and then the game started on a hellish stage, and a mans voice saying HELP! Then the game started. Someone burst ahead, and the name above his head made me freeze. SAM.

All capitals, and his body was like sonics head on knuckles body with Tail's tail.

Now I knew where Sam was trapped.

I stupidly went on to complete the level, coming 3rd. Eggman was last, and I could have sworn he had a terrified look on his face. 3 seconds later, the screen went black and I heard what sounded like Eggman scream.

When I came the screen came back, there was no Dr Eggman. And an evil grin flashed across the screen like a Cheshire Cat for a split second before the game starting again.

This time I noticed something I didn't before. Sonic looked more like his werehog mode from sonic unleashed, with bloodshot eyes and a bloody face. When this level was finished, the same thing happened, except Amy was last. I heard he scream when the screen went black and she was gone when the game came back.

Eventually, when everyone was gone, the game restarted itself. But I had no control. It picked a character for me that looked strangely like me. Then the same hellish level started.

"I told you not to play..."

I froze, I thought someone had whispered that to me from behind. I turn around and there was a bloody hover board behind me and a sticky note posted on it that read.

"Ready to ride to the death?"

I stepped on the hover board (who wouldn't?) and was instantly transported into the level. I turned around and saw my lounge room through a screen.

I scream, but no one hears me. Now I ride everyday, trying to save my own life.

If you receive this game, be sure to destroy it immediately. Do not play.
