Spongebob Squarepants: Pilot
So, uhh, yeah, OK. So, basically, it was 1999 at the time. I was working for Nickeloden Studios. My friends told me about a new show that there was a new show coming called Spongebob Squarepants. I was exicted, and I feel very happy. One of my friends found the tape 2 days before. But, he has not told me about it. We were all gathered around a table, and the person who was in charge was about to put the tape. I eagerly awaited in excitment. He slipped the tape in, and it started. It started with a intro, with a human pirate. "Ahoy, kids, I am Archie, Archie the pirate!" The pirate said. And then it showed a frame-by-frame stop-motion animation of a animated sponge called Spongebob, getting into trouble in the real world. There was no music, and the quality was not the greatest, but we kept watching. But, I swear I heard a voice whispering something about death. The episode started, and there was still no music. It showed a title card, but the background was a blood-red color. This freaked me out a bit. The title card said Pilot. It cut to Spongebob, waking up, and he was cheering, but his eyes were gone, and I could hear white noise in the background. Spongebob got out of his bed, and he started to walk over to his employee uniform. It was a blue set of pants, with a nice red tie, and he smiled. Spongebob ran outside, his house seemed to be a boat, and I could see blood-stains on the boat, like it has been in a war. Spongebob started running to work, and he got slower and slower, as his yellow colour began to fade into a gray color. There was finally music, but it sounded depressing, and Spongebob's expression seemed to be sad. The quality got worse from there, and it was a mixture of pixels and static at some points. Spongebob eventually arrived at his workplace, it was a resturant called Krabby Times. I laughed a bit at the name. Spongebob walked in, he looked even sadder, as he began to cry. He saw a cashier called Squidward, he was sitting in a black boat, with a register in front of him, and there was a menu on the right side. "Hi, are you here for the job?" Squidward asked, with a slight frown on his face. "Yes..." Spongebob said, somberly. Spongebob walked into the kitchen and he saw a blood splatter on the window. "What happened here?" Spongebob gasped. He saw a shadow, and the boss stepped out of the darkness. "Hello..." Mr Krabs said, licking his lips. "Why are you treating me like this?" Spongebob screamed. "So, do you want to know how to cook the perfect Krabby Patty?" Mr Krabs asked. "Yes, just please don't hurt me!" Spongebob sobbed. Mr Krabs found a fresh fish. "What are you doing?" The fish said. "Is that fish human?" Spongebob asked. "Yes." Mr Krabs said. I witnessed a horrifying scene. Mr Krabs ripped open the fish's chest and grounded him up, as hyper realistic blood splattered on the screen. "Now, this is a Fishy Patty, give it to a customer or you are fired!" Mr Krabs ordered. "Yes sir!" Spongebob said. Spongebob gave people lots of Fish Patties, and they got very sick. "What a success that was, boyo!" Mr Krabs said. "Yeah..." Spongebob replyed. Mr Krabs made a Krabby Patty, as blood-stains went flying. The episode faded in, to reveal a image of Mr Krabs eating Spongebob's leg, with fangs. Text appeared on the screen. "Death is approaching, you cannot outrun it." The text said. The tape injected itself. The current owner of the tape, who has not been identified, has put it into the Nickeloden Vaults, never to be seen again. If you ever come across this tape, do not watch it. The creator is unknown. But we know one thing. He created our nightmares.
