Star Wars: Revenge Of The Sith Extended Version
It was the spring of 2005 and a brand new Star Wars movie was coming out titled "Revenge Of The Sith" it was going to be about Anakin Skywalker turning to the dark side and almost killing Obi-Wan that was until Obi-Wan chopped his legs off. There were plans of a extended edition to Star Wars 3 but they were scrapped due to the dark material and theme it had in the film.I was one of the people who were lucky enough to go to a screening of this "Extended Edition" of Star Wars 3. I drove to the screening at approximately 3:30 and parked my car near one of the available parking spots.I arrived at the offices at Lucasfilm and one of the managers welcomed me into the building."Hi there,I'm Steve and I'll be guiding you to where the screening room will be, follow me". He then guided me to a basement-like room with 30+ other people inside and placed me in the front row. The room had tons of pipes on the wall, occasional cob-webs, Spiders and Rats crawling around the dark room from time to time and what surprised me the most in the room was a picture of a demented Anakin Skywalker holding Padme's corpse and looking at us grinning widely. Other people noticed this but they quickly darted away from the picture and turned to the bright screen where it now said "This is a Extended/Alternate Edition of Star Wars Episode 3: Revenge Of The Sith, it contains themes of Murder, Burning Alive, and Stabbing. Watch at your own risk". All of us were starting to get uneasy but we felt at-ease once the movie began with the normal opening scene which consisted of Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker coming to save a captive Palpatine on The Invisible Hand's ship but when they opened the rusty doors to where General Greivous was, things started to be a little bit different. Gerivous was more antagonizing and ruthless then we had ever saw him be. He said to Anakin and Obi-Wan "Care to die Obi-Wan, Anakin?" the both Jedi then said at the same time "No I don't think we will be dying" and they cut off General Grivous's head and save the Chancellor then and there. The rest of the movie was fairly normal with the newly added scenes which were the deleted scenes of the movie and with other new content such as the scene where Anakin killed the Younglings was actually shown and a brand new never-before scene of Jar Jar betraying Obi-Wan during his never-before seen mission and become what the fanbase knows as Darth Jar-Jar.
It then cut to the scene where Anakin and Obi-Wan were fighting on Mustifar but the whole thing was entirely different, with that Lava Pool deleted scene and 10 newly added scenes with Obi-Wan and Anakin talking about what they were gonna do if one of them gets out of this, having a saber fight and even slicing eachother with the sabers but none of them said ow. But there was also a huge change when it got to the high ground part, instead of Anakin getting chopped up it was Obi-Wan. Obi-Wan screamed in pain and called for Anakin but Anakin just said "You were never my master nor was Yoda, all you've done to me was push me around and treat me like shit but all that ends today, say goodbye Master" he then cuts off Obi-Wan's head and he left him there alone, burnt up and with a chopped up head. Anakin arrived back with the ship and with Padme and left to join The Emperor and build their improved new empire. The movie ended but there was a credits scene, it was just Palpatine rebuilding Obi-Wan and naming him "Darth Obi-Wan".
