TDU2: Champion Files

Ok, so, to explain this, we need to go back to 2011, more specifically, February 8th.

This was Test Drive Unlimited 2's release date.

To say I was hyped as fuck would be an understatement, I LOVED TDU1, and was looking forward to it as I walked up to my local GameStop to pick up a copy of the game, I had ALL systems of the time because I just loved videogames and had a high paying job, but at the end I picked it up for the PS3, and as soon as I got home i begun the installing process. I called some of my friends to come play with me as they also were hyped about TDU2.

My friends arrived, and we begun the game.

The intro was BEAUTIFUL! And we were stoked, right about untill the game crashed at the end of the Ferrari California segment.

We were a little pissed, but we rebooted the PS3 and the game ran fine, just some wonky pitch, that we attributed to my old TV being faulty, then we got to buying our 1st car, and the game ensued, we stayed up late beating championship after championship, A5, A4, A3, and the list keeps going, then we hit the A1 Final, it was the last one, the last race, and we were running, it was an eliminator race and our Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport was doing a quick job and winning the eliminator race, but as soon as we crossed the line and the winning cutscenes begun, instead of us getting the solar crown and Winning the Special Lotus, the police showed up and took our main character into custody, which was weird, since some of my friends that weren't there said that the ending was another entire thing, and then we were in an interrogation room, with files saying that our character had murdered innumerous families in car crashes, and we were getting the death penalty, and the last thing we saw was our character getting electrocuted in the chair.

We tried rebooting the game, but the only thing it would show was the character getting electrocuted, and a crash.

So, well, I almost lost my love for TDU, But I thought what if I tried to play TDU2 On another console?

March 26th, 2011

After the Freakout TDU2 had on my PS3, I decided to go around that same GameStop and pick up the game's other versions, for the Xbox 360 and PC.

I got home a little scared, but I begun installing the PC version, while I booted up the 360 Version.

I got over the intro, but this time something was wack. I got the Delta Integrale as my first car, but there was another player on, his name was... Newo (My PSN account's name) and I knew TDU2 Didn't have cross play. So i drove up to "me", and saw he was driving a Veyron Grand Sport, Just like the one in the PS3 Save, but, there was no driver, and the car didn't move, so I tried doing a friend request to the "player" but in the menu the only option was a new one. "Drive". That wasn't an online option, so I got freaked out, and accidentally pressed "A". As soon as I got in the driver seat of the Veyron, I got max wanted level and Viper SRT-10 Police units were coming for me.

But the Veyron is notorious for being hard to control, and the police caught up to me. The same PS3 Cutscene played, and the game was bricked for the 360 too.

My last hope was the PC, and right when the 360 version bit the dust, the PC version was installed successfully, and as soon as I got control of the character, I rushed to the Veyron, and now I had a clear goal. Get to the Ibiza Airport, it appeared as a goal in the top left corner. And I managed to do it, and as I lost sight of the cops and saw the airport, the game froze and just displayed a "thank you", and then I tried the other consoles and they begun working again.

I didn't lose my love for TDU that day, it was just weird.
