The Black Creature
Josh Steel reporting. January 11, 2008. This happened to me when I was 17. My Mother told me to get some milk and eggs for the cake she was baking, the car was broken so I had to walk. It was also a darker than normal for a night. I said bye to my Father and Mother, and left the house. The houses I walked by looked a little weird, the lights were off and they looked... darker the usual. It didn't bother me that much. I had arrived at the store, and no one was there, it was even weirder because the cashiers and workers weren't there either, yet the store was open. I thought I could leave a check on the counter and leave.
I went to go get the eggs and put them in the bag, when I did, the lights went a little dimmer, the same when I got the milk. I went to leave a check and go, but when I tried to leave the doors were locked and the lights shut off. Good thing I had a key-chain light, but I still could barely see 7 feet in front of me, I went to look for the back to see if I could find a key or switch that unlocked the door. As I was walking, I heard slight scratches, as I got closer to the back, it got louder and louder.
When I got there, they were really loud. As I opened the door, there were bodies impaled on the walls. All were workers, and on the walls was written, "Don't look behind you." Of course I turned around, and saw nothing. When I turned back around, there was a black sketchy figure, almost drawn-like, it was black and had sharp teeth, it had sharp long sword-like claws, its back was twisted. It was across the room. I was frozen with fear and couldn't move. It slowly walked towards me... twitching. I had just enough courage to run away, but I fell and tripped on my bag. It stood above me with its claws and teeth next to my neck.
I mustered up enough courage again to grab its hand and shove it out of the way. I quickly jumped up and ran towards the door. It was right behind me, swinging its claws and biting with its teeth. I jumped at the glass door and it was like steel, and I knocked myself out. When I woke up, I was strapped to a dentist chair. I was in a pitch-black room so I couldn't see anything. I struggled for five minutes, but nothing, the ropes were made from soild steel cables so I had no chance of getting out.
Then the lights suddenly came on, and he was standing there, he lunged and took a huge swipe downwards me. Surpisingly, it cut the chains. I lifted my legs and stood up. I still could barely move because I was still shocked from fear. I managed to low kick him and trip him. I quickly ran to the door at the other side of the room and bursted out, I barely got out of the room. I ran towards the exit and kicked the door with all my force, and it still didn't break, I grabbed a hammer, I smashed the door open, but then he slashed my back, a four inch slash in my back, I could barely move, but I managed to, throw the hammer at him and knock him out. I then managed to use my shirt to clog up my back slash, and just barely stood up. I slowly walked away, back to my house. I was losing a lot of blood even with the clog. I slowly opened the door, with the milk and eggs.
"Josh! What happened to you?!"
I explained what happened, she believed me due to the fact that I have had a lot of encounters like this. She cleaned my back and gave me a new bandage. I still have the scar today, and he is still out there.
