The Day of the Tremendous Bloodletting

This is the narrative of a period between sunrise and sunset where there was a notably large amount of bloodshed.

A gentleman was having a leisurely daytime stroll when he began to exude enormous quantities of blood from every possible part of his anatomy. The hemorrhaging was so severe that it completely occupied the volume of the mechanical device for elevating people within the building.

He hastily proceeded to the establishment where merchandise is sold and there was sanguine bodily fluid on every surface within the building. The patrons of the establishment were losing their footing in the blood and were sliding and fumbling about, which filled them with disgust and loathing.

He tried to have a leisurely swim in an oceanic body of water and the sharks that inhabited the waters were driven into a carnivorous frenzy from his excessive hemorrhaging and thus proceeded to wound everyone with their sharp incisors.

He was then pursued by all reanimate bloodsucking corpses in existence. At one point in time the sanguine bodily fluid menaced a child and a domestic canine.

At the end of the period of daylight, everyone deemed it necessary to deliver him to celestial spaces beyond the Earth in a vessel designed specifically to travel through intergalactic space.

The most alarming aspect of this narrative is that the identity of this gentleman happened to be you, the reader (or he happened to be a woman if you happen to belong to the female sex) and failed to recollect that these events transpired.
