(NOTE: The following Trollpasta was made as a joke.)

So one day I was just sitting on a couch watching TV until I heard a knock on my front door, so I got up and ran to the door and opened it, I said ''Hello?'' only to find nothing, not a single person at my door. I though some kids were playing Ding-Dong Ditch and they had rung my door and tricked me. I shut the door and went back to my living room, only to hear another knock. This time I ran to the door and opened it while saying ''Hello?''. There was no-one again so I shut it again. As soon as I did I heard the knock yet again! So I ran to it again to open it, only to find nothing, again. I yelled ''Scram, pesky kids!''. I slammed the door shut and heard the knock once again...but this time, I heard a voice say ''Don't you slam this door.'' I opened it again quickly to see nothing. After closing the door again I heard it say ''Come out, come out...'' I opened the door again to see as you expected; nothing. I almost lost it and screamed ''CAN YOU JUST SHOW YOURSELF?!''. I slammed the door yet again to hear ''Open your door and check your mat.'' I did what it said and opened my door again. I looked at my mat to see a dead rat on it, I got disgusted and threw it off the mat. Then I closed the door again. This time I managed to get to my living room without hearing a knock, but only 2 minutes later I heard it once again. I sighed, walking to it again to open it. But this time I saw a note on my doormat again. I picked it up and read it. It said ''I'M COMING.'' in all caps, but I replied with ''Go ding-dong ditch someone else, pests.'' I regretted saying that to this day because when I shut my door, at that same moment, The door once again knocked. I opened it, and then a Skeleton popped out and punched me in the face. It said in a deep tone ''Take that, sucker!'' as he slammed the door shut. The punch left a bruise on my face, and to this day. Every time I look in a mirror, that bruise reminds me of that Skeleton.
