The Hell Girl

The photo is of an anime girl from the series "Hell Girl", which has been of interest in my life these past couple of weeks, because of some weird things happening regarding this photo and my friends...

I watched this anime about three weeks ago and loved it. I told a friend of mine about it and he asked for a picture, so I got on Google and sent him a picture I found, the one to the right. But that night I had my first sleep paralysis, and in it, who do you guys think it involved? And she had the courtesy of keeping that same look on her face as she walked into my room and slowly approached my bed. I got lucky and woke up before she did anything... damaging.

I told my friend Chris the next day and he laughed and said I'm just being "a paranoid little bitch". I told him to piss off. I was a bit disappointed I let something so ridiculous get to me. But the next day, Chris texted me, telling me he had a dream where the girl was in his room, just staring at him... it was the same as that picture, and he said it was awful. I didn't think much at this point, but I thought I'd talk to another friend of mine about it. I sent him the picture and told him about me and Chris's encounter. He messaged back, mocking me... he isn't into anime, so he just said I was being weird. Nothing happened for a week, and she slowly faded away.

Until one morning, a week ago, my friend messaged me on Facebook, telling me he had a nightmare where she was chasing him with the same expression the whole time. At this point I was a little worried... maybe something was up. Then that Saturday, I went back to my parents house and stayed there for the weekend. I watched a few episodes with my younger brother, who is 12, and strangely he wanted to watch it after I showed him the picture. He loved the series, and told me to tell him where to watch it online. I was impressed. But last Wednesday, he called me, saying he had had a nightmare about that goddamn picture.

Chris said he saw her in another dream recently, but doesn't remember much... I don't know what's going on here, I honestly think it is just a mass hypnosis I've accidently somehow induced on everyone, or a sort of hysteria... but I can't help but wonder, considering how I'm about to go to bed soon, what is going on here? Maybe it's nothing, or maybe it is, I just don't really know. Check out the picture and stare at the eyes. See how long you can last staring into them... it's almost like they're actually looking at you.
