"I'll come back to help in an hour," Zach said.

"Don't bother, this was a one way trip," Harrison responded.

He sat patiently, back door opened. He pressed the secondary load on his M4 Carbine. A .44 Magnum at his side, with a 12 Gauge shotgun on his back. Harrison stared at the black hole of the open doorway, feeling the gravity and tension building in the air. A loud stomping emerged from the silence. It moved closer, and he raised his gun towards the sound. The Jamalikon appeared from the abysmal darkness, peering at him keenly. He had no mouth or nose, just two soulless eyes that seemed to swallow up the night around them. Anthony stood rigidly behind Harrison, holding a 5.56 calibre rifle his father had given him. A Beretta Tomcat at his side, and a large machete strapped over his shoulder.

There was no noise or motion. The stillness was complete. Harrison opened fire on the hellish creature, but it dodged the hail of bullets with inhuman speed, ramming into him. He fell back, slamming into the wall painfully. Anthony hastily fired upon the beast and managed to distract it momentarily, giving Harrison time to recover. Harrison stood and shot at the beast's legs, causing it to fall down and let out a piercing, mouthless screech as it swung at him again. Harrison dove backwards and kept shooting. Anthony leapt up and stabbed wildly at the monster, but the Jamalikon swung around rapidly, throwing Anthony off. He crashed violently into a wall, his arm badly broken. Harrison scurried behind the couch, hoping to surprise the creature. The Jamalikon stalked around the room searching for him, its eyes growing focused and beady as it hunted its prey. Harrison sprang up, firing frantically at the beast. It turned to him, smashing the couch in rage. Harrison dived towards the stairs and took cover, and the Jamalikon lost sight of him once again. It stomped around angrily for almost a minute as it looked for him, breathing heavily. Harrison lay in waiting for it to cross the stairway. As its fearsome head appeared around the corner, Harrison struck it viciously in the face. He darted around, taking a shot and hit its left eye. Its sickly orange-coloured blood seeped from its wounds. Anthony got up shakily, he elevated his rifle and put a bullet in the Jamalikon's shoulder before diving clumsily into the bathroom. He winced as a sharp jolt of pain shot through his broken arm. Harrison sprinted to his car, panting heavily. The Jamalikon wasn't far behind, and was soon upon him.

Anthony came dashing to Harrison's rescue, weapon at the ready. His eyes widened as he was met with the sight of the Jamalikon gripping Harrison in its brutal claws. Anthony unloaded an entire clip at the beast's hands and it dropped Harrison, arching its spine in agony. Harrison landed roughly, but did not hesitate in getting up to escape. The exhausted pair fled back inside, their strength beginning to fail. "My M4 is out..." Harrsion panted as he pulled out his Magnum, a look of desperation contorting his features. "I've still got a clip in my Tomcat." Anthony responded as he reloaded his pistol. His expression was stony and determined, he wasn't going to let this monster get away. The Jamalikon came striding in.

The two men opened fire once again, a second surge of adrenaline kicking in. The demonic beast snatched Anthony and pulled him by his neck and hips. There were a sickening series of cracks and rips as Anthony's torso was slowly torn in two. The Jamalikon threw down his mutilated body, his last breath gurgling out though a throat flooded with blood. Harrison cried out in horror, and barely slipped out of the way in time, the beast lunging for him as its fury grew. The Jamalikon's eyes gleamed with a sadistic malice as it advanced on the cornered man. Harrison let out a thunderous yell, "Die you son of a bitch!" planting his last few bullets firmly in the monster's torso.

The last shot pierced the Jamalikon's right eye. It went to deliver the fatal blow, but the fire from a .50 calibre machine gun stopped it in its tracks, and threw it backwards. Zach mowed down the monster with the heavy gun, and it collapsed with a mighty thud. Zach flung down the weapon, running to Harrison and pulling him up. Harrison sighed weakly "I told you it was a bad idea to come back..." "It was, there are more of them on the way!" Zach exclaimed as he helped Harrison onto the AH-6 helicopter waiting outside. Harrison reached over and grabbed the nearest weapon, and pulled back the bolt. Anthony's death wasn't about to go unavenged. Harrison turned to Zach, his face a fearless mask of earnest courage. "Let's go kick some ass then."
