The Nu Pogodi Postapocalypse Theory
Сегодня я смотрел "Ну, погоди" и ты знаешь, оказывается, это не просто мультик про животных, похожих на людей. Это целая фантастика. Постапокалипсис для человечества.
Поразительно, как в такой мультик смогли запихнуть такую вселенную. Все очень просто. Дело в том, что ДО животных, типа Волка и Зайца в том мире были люди. Это видно по серии в музее: там есть пещерный человек, есть доспехи человеческие, есть роспись египтян, есть даже Венера Милосская. То есть, когда-то там действительно жили люди! Но потом откуда-то взялись прямоходящие животные и то ли поработили нас, то ли попросту уничтожили. От всего человечества осталась лишь наша культура, которую эти твари переняли от нас в точности, вплоть до алкоголиков, смотрящих футбол в майке-алкоголичке и с рыбой в руках.
Что интересно, не все животные в мире "Ну, погоди" прямоходящие и разумные. Там существуют лошади, которые по-прежнему являются верховыми и животными и есть даже обычные домашние кошки. Если пронаблюдать за всем сериалом, то наиболее часто встречающимися животными будут Волки, Зайцы, Бегемоты и Собаки. Встречаются также Львы и Медведи. Из этого можно предположить, что Волк гоняется за Зайцем не из-за голода, ведь у них есть развитая пищевая промышленность, перенятая от людей, а из каких-то идеологических разногласий. Не исключено, что это два враждебных инопланетных вида, хотя Зайцы не испытывают такой ненависти к Волкам.

Today I watched Nu Pogodi, and you know, it turns out that it's not just a cartoon about human-like animals. It's actually science fiction. Postapocalypse regarding mankind.
It's just incredible how they managed to put such a universe into a cartoon like this. It's all very simple. The point is, BEFORE animals like Wolf and Hare there were humans in that world. We can see that in the "Museum" episode; there are caveman, human knight armor, Egyptian paintings and even the Venus de Milo. Which means that humans actually lived there once! But then bipedal animals came from somewhere and either enslaved us or just wiped us out. The only thing left from humanity is its culture which was precisely replicated by those creatures, up to alcoholics watching soccer on TV with a dried fish in hands.
What's interesting is that not all animals in the Nu Pogodi universe are bipedal and sapient. There are horses which are still animals and still serve for riding and there are even regular house cats. If you watch the entire series you will notice that the most common animals there are Wolves, Hares, Hippopotami and Dogs. There are also Lions and Bears. That might imply that Wolf chases Hare not because he is hungry - they have a well-developed food industry borrowed from humans - but because of some ideological differences. It's possible that they belong to two rival extraterrestrial races, though Hares don't feel such hatred towards Wolves.
