The One Who Stares

I was walking back home after a long day at school. My mother was making dinner like usual I went to check up on her but she didn't reply she was wearing a hoodie, so I couldn't see what she looked like but I thought it was the usual look I saw in her pictures. I went upstairs and opened the door to my bedroom I sat on the bed. Then I heard something I don't remember what I heard fully it was only for a short second but I think I heard "RUN!" I didn't understand but I jumped out of the window.

After about 3 hours of being outside I went back inside my house. I saw my mom motionless on the floor I guess she passed out after hearing that voice. But there was something weird about her at the time. She didn't have a face. I thought I was seeing things so I rushed up to my bedroom. I saw a black mask filled with black goo on it I wore it because why not I thought. But when I wore it.. it was all blurry and I must have passed out for a few hours.

Then I saw something in the window a man that is only gray with no eyes no mouth no nothing. He was gray and that black goo on the mask was coming out from him just when I saw him he vanished. Then I heard a blood curdling scream and I went downstairs and my mom was gone.. Then I heard a deep dark eerie sound that said "The one who stares". That was everything that happened on that one day .I'll call that gray man "The One Who Stares".
