The Philosophy Behind the Chicken Salad

I was about to order a chicken salad from Wendy's the the other day, and you know, I walked up to the lady working there and she said "Hello sir, what would you like to order?" And it's like, that question... it's really a pertinent question to the youth in our society I think. But it's like... well what do you even mean by "like?" It's such a complicated word, and you see, the post-modern neo-marxists... they'll say it all depends on the context.

Well no, if that's so how come the word is so damn complicated? It can't be explained by anything! Do you mean that what I want to order is like something else? Do you mean that what I order is what I like, or are these separate concepts? I mean, you really have to be more specific. We're living in a society where we don't even know what our words mean, but we use them anyway, and that's bloody terrifying! It really is, bucko!

And you see, we really have to get our meanings in order before we go out into the world and speak, you know. And you see, even that name Wendy's... really represents an enterprise of female domination, of rebellion against patriarchal power structures. It's the archetypical manifestation of it, and it fights against this dominance hierarchy by breaking things up and destroying order, man. It's really the apex of our decaying teleological consciousness.

And you see, as I was eating my chicken salad... it's like, even that some pieces of lettuce sat above the others. Even in the finest details we see a hierarchy, and let me yell ya, the postmodern neo-marxists... ask them and they won't acknowledge it, I guarantee you, and that's bloody scary, bucko!
