The Simpsons: Hit & Run: Lost Beta Version
Introduction
Ahh, the sweet memories of The Simpsons: Hit & Run. Takes me back to a more simpler time. But, now, I can't look at Homer the same way again after this incident. I got a strange package at my door one day. The package was black. I picked it up, and I took it inside. It was the normal The Simpsons: Hit & Run box, but Homer was crying instead of screaming, and he was the only one on the box...
The Game
I put the game into my PS2 and the intro instantly played. It had muffled audio, and Homer was staring at me, with a flat expression. It cut to the part where Homer kills the sorta robotic bug thing, but the robot actually bleeds, and the blood wasn't cartoony, it was very realistic. The game began straight away. I noticed something off in the distance, it seemed like the trees didn't feel quite right, as I looked ahead, I noticed a tall, black and shadowy figure, and it didn't move, it just stood there, frozen solid, and it didn't have a face. I saw a message appear on the screen. It said this. "Hello, new player, you are the first person to try this lost beta version of The Simpsons: Hit & Run, there are glitches in this game, so watch out." It said, on a black background. I suddenly spawned into the Family Sedan, but it had blood-stains and it was a darker colour. Homer's Day began to play, but it sounded off. It was a lower pitch and it felt oddly scary for me. As I began to drive, the screen got darker and darker. I used my controller for a bit, but it suddenly wouldn't work. Homer was the steering the car by himself. Homer turned towards the screen and smiled. "Are you happy with what you have done?" Homer said, with his eyes missing. I felt scared, but I couldn't look away. I saw Marge, and Homer drove straight into her. Blood went flying, and Marge's entrails were spread across the street. "You did this to me." Homer said, with bloodshot eyes. I heard a faint crying. The car changed into the Mr Plow vehicle but it was red, and the contrast was slightly darker. My controller, it wouldn't seem to work. Glitches filled the screen, as I paniced. My hands were sweating. Homer's skin began to peel off. Homer's eyes became more red. Homer's mouth was dripping with blood, and that blood looked photo-realistic. All of a sudden, Bart appeared in the middle of the road. Homer hit Bart, but the car clipped right through Bart. Things weren't as they seemed. I saw a zombie verison of Flanders, with his skin tearing off. Homer began to cry. Homer couldn't stop crying. It went on for quite a while. Until it stopped. A message popped up. "Thank you for playing." It said, on a red background. The last image I saw was a image of Homer, but he had blood-stains on his shirt and his eyes were missing. My PS2 shut off. I sold the damn game. I'll never look at Homer the same way ever again...
