Unaired Simpsons Couch Gag

Like everyone these days, I am a huge fan of the Simpsons and I've been a fan of the entire franchise since the Ullman shorts from way back in 1987. However unlike most fans I don't see The Simpsons in the same way as everyone else all because of some gory horrific banned couch gag I once experienced watching.

It was the day after Halloween. I was taking down the halloween decorations despite only putting them up last night when I decided to rent a christmas DVD to get in the christmas mood. However I visited every local store in hopes of getting a christmas movie no matter how good or bad it was, but none of them even had at least 1 Christmas dvd as they all claimed they won't be selling christmas merchandise until the following month. I then went home to find Christmas movies and TV specials online but I still couldn't find any. Even Netflix and Hulu claimed they won't have any Christmas movies until near the end of the month. As I sighed I then took another stroll through town as I had nothing else to do.

I then spotted a 99 cent shop around the corner, which was selling old tapes and stuff. Most of the tapes included my childhood favourites such as A Charlie Brown christmas, Arthur's Perfect Christmas, and Christmas Who? (The first SpongeBob christmas special). As I reached the bottom of the box I found an unusual Simpsons tape called "YOU'RE NEXT". It was rated TV-MA V, which is unusual because no episode in the series has ever received the TV-MA rating.

Even though it wasn't a christmas special I purchased it anyway since I always loved watching lost episodes of my favourite cartoons.

Anyway when I got home I inserted the tape into my VHS player to watch the episode.

It started with The Simpsons watching TV while dark music played in the background. They were made out of playdough and were animated using stop-motion. Suddenly Jimbo wearing a white Tiger mask appeared out of the window. Bart notices him and walks towards the window to see why he's there. He was then shot dead with an arrow and collapsed to the ground while the family watched in horror. Jimbo along with Dolph and Kearney then broke in the house. Homer then attempted to pick up the phone to ring for help but was stabbed in the hand. He then looked at Marge while tearing up seconds before his brain were blown to pieces. As Marge watched in horror, her hair was cut off, exposing her brain. Maggie was then stabbed to death in front of her, and that was the when she fought back by snatching Kearney's axe off him knocking him down. She then killed both him and shot Dolph dead. She then attacked Jimbo and they killed each other at the same time. Lisa then got up after being knocked from the ground, only to be shot dead by Chief Wiggum seconds later. The episode ended with a brief scream right after the opening credits.

I then ejected the tape and burned it so nobody else will have to witness it.

To this day, whenever someone asks me what my least favourite Simpsons episode is, I answer by saying "I don't know".
