You know how there's a classic fighting game made by Roblox also known as "Crossroads" right? I'm pretty sure almost everyone that's been on the Roblox platform for more than six months has played it.
However, according to a unconfirmed rumor there is a prototype for a sequel to the game according to users from the Roblox forums which are now shutdown due to raids from a Twitch streamer. I've had a small memory of visiting the PROTOTYPECROSS2 game, and I'll share it in the next update.
According to a anonymous user on Discord around December 4th, 2018, the anonymous user supposedly played the game around September 27th, 2014 when the user was 11. The user supposedly said it was a mostly darker version of Crossroads with screamers, here is a summary from the anonymous user:
Anonymous User's Experience
The anonymous user was really bored and wanted to play a official Roblox game, instead of the generic games such as Natural Disaster Survival, Prison Life or Work at A Pizza Place. When the user went to Roblox's profile, the user saw the game "PROTOTYPECROSS2". The user then decided to play the game, it was the normal Crossroads map besides the mostly "awkward" decals everywhere.
The user then decided to explore. The user decided to go to the Blackrock Castle. The team beacon is also not visible in this area.
At the Thief's Den, there was a team beacon. However the team beacon was colored pink, and did nothing. There were also extremely weird decals such as a image of a ant.
The user went to the Lost Temple. Before the user went to the Lost Temple, the user looked at the tools the user had. The user had all of the tools, however the Rocket Launcher, Superball, and the Trowel had changes.
- Rocket Launcher - The bullets switch colors extremely fast and the bullets had bright lights to the point where people could have a seizure except for the holder, because of the holder's client, the bullets are dark black.
- Superball - No changes except for the color, the color turned from red to blue.
- Trowel - No changes besides the bricks. The bricks showed a picture of a ant, and formerly screamer images. This function is currently broken.
The user then left the game and probably died alone.
There were also forum posts about "PROTOTYPECROSS2" on the original Roblox forums. The links were also not archived on the Wayback Machine.

IronicIsaacHD: I think I'm going to tell something I found out lately; I saw a possible sequel to Crossroads titled, "PROTOTYPECROSS2" created by the official Roblox account. I'm unsure, but I do have proof of this claim. The game was the same Crossroads map but with new changes such as.. a hanging body? There was also like weird decals everywhere.
I don't know but there were also screamers. I felt a weird presence behind me like something paranormal was in my house. One of the screamers I remember is a pixelated image of my house.

Oh yeah, I'll also be researching and finding the file of the Roblox game. Once I get the file, I'll be publishing it onto Roblox and the original version on the Internet Archive.
Update [October 7th, 2023]
Ah, I've not updated this for a while since September 13th, 2023. Anyway, I'll be publishing the game with a few changes. The Internet Archive, as of now, is currently down. I've removed the script that shows a image of your own home due to legality including the Internet Archive copy. The hanging body is also removed, and the hanging body will be put on the Internet Archive copy. I've removed the Rocket Launcher epilepsy too.
What I've also discovered in PROTOTYPECROSS2 was the following:
- Instead of the usual jump-scare noise, it plays the audio clip bass.wav used from the Trowel.
- The jump-scare noise is whenever you go to the table at the Thief's Den.
- There are much more than what the user described.

I've also gotten video evidence currently; but my video ate the dog and the dog ate the video.

Minor Update
There's one more thing I forgot to mention. I also recovered some assets and un-corrupted the assets. One of them included a NPC with a dialog containing a unknown language and houses. I'll go ahead and log out, and I'll be updating this soon.
My Experience & Update [October 8th, 2023]
I went to the hospital and somehow remembered the memory I mentioned earlier of playing the game. I remember playing the game around March 7th, 2016.
I had a similar experience similar to the anonymous user. However, I explored further. Right when I got to the tower, there was a note of a address (which I removed in the mirror for privacy reasons) in Detroit, Michigan. Knowing that I live near Detroit, I asked my father to drive me there today. The address was to a house that was overgrown. "Eh, I'm stupid anyway, I'll go the fuck in," I thought to myself.
There, I was both shocked and surprised. I saw multiple USB drives and a computer. I realized I also took a box with me, so I stored the computer and USB drives for research purposes. I also saw some shadow figure that looked like he was unironically acting delusional and sounded like somebody out of a mental asylum. I ignored the shadow figure of course.
I then asked my father to drive me home. There, I plugged in the USB drives and ran it on a virtual machine known as VirtualBox in case if there were any malicious scripts or apps. The USB drive had multiple Roblox game files that were corrupted and very hard to un-corrupt and most of them being obfuscated, a text file, and a Shockwave Flash file. I opened the text file, and it had plans of the prototype of Crossroads 2.
I opened the Shockwave Flash file, and it revealed a video showcasing Crossroads 2. I feel bad for the people who flopped like a fish. But hey, I've got evidence and I decided to turn it into the police and give the address of the house. I asked a local officer if I could have the computer for research, and the local officers having the USB drives. The local officer accepted the offer, and I had the computer for now.
I'm currently in contact with the police, and they'll give me updates.
Click here for the Pastebin of the text file I found. The Shockwave File is mostly corrupted, and I have yet to un-corrupt it.
Here are some things I found out today:
- I found a house full of PROTOTYPECROSS2-related USB drives. This may be off-topic, but I heard clicking and typing. I was being quiet, making sure no one caught me or anything.
- I nearly died today. Imagine if I didn't have my pepper spray during the time, and if I was loud then dear god I would have been dying and flopping like a fish going straight to fucking hell.
As I log out, I'll update this article soon. Moral of the story? Never fucking play Crossroads while at the airport and scream "I HAVE A BOMB!" at 3 AM. A scary creature named Police will kill you.
