Yeah I had an account around 2016-2019. Stopped using discord during medical school.

I sent you a message on discord. Write me back whenever you get on that account, no need to rush.

As I’ve gotten older I’ve come to see 2013 to really be the last period of online Wild West. It feels like starting that year it all became more corporate. I never saw the internet of the early 2000s or 1990s but there’s a huge difference between how things are now and 2013. YouTubers did whatever they felt like, social media companies were big but not monolithic, and it felt like things were just more sparse. These days every personality has a Twitter or brand. Every corner of the internet has been conquered (barring the completely fragmented deep web). Maybe I was just a kid who couldn’t see it all. I did see the internet of 2008-2009 and it was even more primitive compared to the 2010s.

I guess I feel nostalgia for 2013 creepypasta because of that. It was cringe and embarrassing in a lot of ways. But at the same time people were passionate and earnest in that cringe. Looking back, it really feels like all the complaints people have about the internet started in 2013-2015. I’d even take that annoying google plus drama over the fakeness that feels so common today. I really enjoy my life today- medicine gives me money and I’ve got a child coming next year. But it’s hard to not feel a longing for a time where my worries were math and VCROC.

Reach out to me when you can on discord. It’s nice to stroll down memory lane sometimes. Whyamireadingthis, crashingcymbal, FatalDisease, shiningarmor, and even SloshedTrain were all people who were strange but have a rhythm to what was one of the last flames of the 2000s Wild West web. I miss them sometimes when I think of my youth.

Edit-Related Question
Hi Lol, this Miraheze Interface's is rather confusing when it comes to trying to edit a pasta. Trying
to correct a grammar error on a new story and I don't see a edit button.

Archive.is
Might be an error on your end? The archive.is link works just fine for me. Thermometer (talk) 12:56, 3 November 2023 (UTC)

Why do you tend to delete creepypastas and trollpastas from this wiki for supposedly being bad and boring?
This wiki is called the "Trollpasta Wiki," not the "Good Trollpasta Wiki." Also, some trollpastas have been deleted from the wiki because they're "bad," despite the fact that the quality of them is subjective.CreeperExplodeMakesGames14 (talk) 03:39, 28 November 2023 (UTC)

Benjamin category
I'm thinking of deleting the Benjamin category and adding all its pages to 'Zel-DUUHHH'. Any thoughts?

Site Tweaks
Been testing out some layout tweaks for the site that I'm looking to implement in February. This includes text spacing, image spacing, and header spacing. When implemented, certain templates (NSFW, hrt, hrb, etc.) will also have to be tweaked to make the spacing consistent with the new changes. Code's located here: User:TrollpastaBot/monobook.css, you can put it in User:LOLSKELETONS/monobook.css to check it out and tell me what you think.

:Did some more tweaks + added a proper dark mode which at the moment is ~75% complete. Deffo test the dark mode out to see what you think/if there's any visual inconsistencies I can fix. Thermometer (talk) 07:05, 5 February 2024 (UTC)

:Your monobook.css needs updating. Code's in the same place as before: User:TrollpastaBot/monobook.css. Thermometer (talk) 04:13, 6 February 2024 (UTC)

RE: YT Readings
You're right, we somehow neglected adding that to the category guidelines. I've added it just now and will start reorganization within the next few days. Shouldn't be too hard.

re:
whoops, didn't mean to paste the darkmode stuff in. I just made some minor spacing and image caption adjustments.
