When Slendermans Attack

My friend once told me that somewhere in the woods on the outskirts of town lurks a mysterious creature known as the "Slenderman". He said that anyone who has ever gone into those woods late at night were hunted down and killed by the Slenderman. I, of course, thought it was bullshit, but my friend's belief in the paranormal remained unfettered. So one day, I bet my friend five-hundred dollars that I could spend an entire night in the woods without being killed He was reluctant to accept the bet at first (after all, you'd have to be an asshole to send your best friend to his death for the sake of money), but I was eventually able to convince him. So I went into the woods one night, equipped with a flashlight and just enough food and water to last the night, and was promptly mauled to death by a pack of rabid bears.
