About half way through band camp, our director said "It's been very hot lately, and you guys have been working so hard. As a reward, tomorrow a fire truck is coming and will cool us off with the hoses."
The next afternoon we saw the fire truck coming down the road and cheered with excitement. However, we soon realized that the "firemen" were in fact skeletons. They hosed us down with their skeleton juice. We could not outrun the juice.
Now we are a skeleton band and our instruments are bones.
