Chronologically Confused About Video Games

So guys, I went on the internet adn I found out that the game "Mother" is called "Earthbound 0" outside of Japan.

WAIT WAIT WAIT WAIT, WAHT!? Just what happend to Earthbound 1? So let me put this in american order:

  • Erathbound 0
  • Earthbound
  • Earhtbound 2

No let me put this in Japan order:

  • Mother
  • Mother 2
  • Mother 3

First off; why are these games called differnent names in different countries? Did the name "Mother" sound offencive in America? Also, WHAT.HAPPEND.TO.EARHTBOUND 1!?!?!? I'M CHRONOLOGICALLY CONFUSED!!!!!!!11

I'm also confused about the Mario games. Let me put this in american order:

  • Super Mario Bros
  • Super Mario Bros 2 (Doki Doki Panic)
  • Super Mario Bros 3

Now lets put this in Japan's order:

  • Super Mario Bros
  • Super Mario Bros 2 (The Lost Levels)
  • Super Mario Bros 3

WAIT WAIT WAIT!!!!! Why is the Japan version differnent from the American version? It turns out that the american version is a rehash of a game called "Doki Doki Panic" but just had Mario characters slaped on it. Also, it turns out that the japan version of Super Mario Bros 2 is a game called "Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels". Also, what happend to Super Mario Bros 4!? Is Super Mario World Super Mario Bros 4!? Not in america. In japan, Super Mario World is Called "Super Mario World: Super Mario Bros 4". Okay. So lets put this ALL to-ghe-thur.

  • Super Mario Bros
  • Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels
  • Super Mario Bros: Doki Doki Panic
  • Super Mario Bros 3
  • Super Mario World: Super Mario Bros 4

Okay now lets talk about consoles. Just look at Playstation. We have PS1 PS2 and the PS3. SEE!!!! THEY ARE ALL NUMBERD!!!!!!!!!!1111 But look at nintendo. Lets put this in order:

  • DSi
  • DSi XL
  • 3DS
  • 3DS XL
  • 2DS

WAIT A MINAUTE!!!!!!! JUST WHAT HAPPEND TO DS2!?!?!?!?!!?!?!??!!? WHY COULDEN'T CALL THE DS Lite the DS2!?!?!? WHY COULDENT THEY CALL THE DSi XL THE DSi 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!111 I'M CHRONOLOGICALLY CONFUSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111
