Death By Sega
Day 1
So the year was 2007 and I got a Sega Dreamcast and a copy of Sonic Adventure with it. A few hours after we set the Sega Dreamcast up, I wanted to play some Sonic Adventure. But when I started up the game, something didn't look right, I didn't take it as a glitch, because I was suspecting the game was cursed from the title screen alone. The music was depressing, Sonic had a grim expression, and the sky was the color of BLOOD. But I didn't care about it, so I continued to play it. Little did I know, that was a mistake. So I started the game as Sonic the hedgehog, because everyone else was locked. So I got to the first Eggman boss fight and for some reason, the screen cut to static for about 13 minutes, and during those 13 minutes of nothing but static, I was eating dinner with my family talking about this weird copy of Sonic Adventure that we got a few hours ago. All of a sudden, we heard VERY LOUD AND DISTORTED screams coming from the TV. "Where's that awful sound coming from?!" Dad yelled. I said, "It's coming from the TV!". Then I saw Sonic dead on the ground in the game.
Day 2
So this is the next day I'm writing this for you to read. Let day 2 begin!
The beginning of Tuesday was normal, until I went to my brother's room to wake him up. I found him dead on his bed. He had a brutal scratch on his face and his stomach was torn open with guts spilling out. I was terrified because it's gross and I never thought that could ever happen. But because I was so stupid, I played more Sonic Adventure. This time, I could only play as Tails. I watched Tails as he walked to where Sonic was. I watched Tails cry over and over with hyper-realistic tears that the Dreamcast could have never been able to handle. Then all of a sudden, Tails got ripped in half by Dr.Eggman's car from Sonic 2.
Day 3
Hello. I'll tell you day 3 right now.
So I was pretty bored even though of what happened the day before. I decided to play Sonic Adventure one last time. This time I could only play as Knuckles. So I did. I was in the treasure hunt level for an hour trying to find the master emerald shards when I found a message on a wall that said, "Why did you decide to play this game, Andrew?" OH MY GOSH, HOW DID THE GAME KNOW MY NAME?! I couldn't handle it anymore, so I decided to destroy the disc. I burned the disc and then threw it out the window. I quickly ran down the stairs with a family sludge hammer and kicked down the door, ran to the disc, and smashed it.
Epilouge
I am no longer a Sonic the hedgehog fan because of what happened in those 3 different days.
I still collect the merch but I don't collect the games anymore.
