I Run

I saw him

He followed me.

I ran from him.

He was always there.

I hid in the woods.

He continued to stalk.

I looked at him.

He looked back

I run.

He follows.

I leave the city.

He did too.

I give up.

He doesn't.

This poem was found in the diary of 17 year old Zach Douglas. Zach went missing two weeks before the police found his diary in the middle of the woods. There have been no traces of any other evidence. All of the other pages consist of circles with X's drawn through it.

The case and search have been legally closed.
