Kitboga Forgotten Livestream
Hey, have you ever heard of the Youtuber/Twitch streamer Kitboga? If you haven't, I'll give you a brief description of his work. Kitboga is a content creator that calls scam centers, wastes their time, takes their information and gives it to authorities to hopefully give the money back to the victims of their scams. Usually, Kitboga uses a voice changer to sound like an old man or woman to sound much more like an easy target, to very funny results. Sometimes, these calls can go on for hours or even days worth of time and often the scammer is completely defeated by the end of the calls, or are so angry that they would smash their computer if able to. Now that you know who Kitboga is, I'll go on to explain what I've discovered.
I was scrolling the Kitboga Twitch streams, looking for ones I hadn't seen before. I caught one that looked interesting, it was titled, "livestream." Strange. He normally had a title that related to what was going to happen in the stream. I clicked it to see what this one was about. Kitboga was there, greeting the viewers of the original stream. A little bit later, he explained that he somehow had found the call center that "Steve Watson" worked at. A very, very angry scammer he had talked to at some point. The chat went crazy, very excited for what would transpire in just a few minutes. Soon enough, Kitboga called the scam center and used his old man voice to start the call. He eventually got ahold of Steve and began to waste his time. Last time he had talked to Steve, he was a huge ball of rage and fury. Now, he seemed very low energy and sad in general. Of course, I didn't care, he deserved every punishment he got from Kitboga and more. After some time, I switched to a different tab and played a few games with the stream on in the background as white noise.
A few hours had passed and I switch back to the stream to see what was happening. Kit wasn't there, he was on break. I went to the chat to see what they were saying, but the chat had completely staled about an hour previously. That was very weird, I had never seen that before on Twitch. I refreshed the page and it didn't change. I decided to skip to the point where Kitboga came back to the stream. He didn't say anything before immediately calling back Steve. He answered and Kit began to speak without his voice changer, "Hello?" "Hi? Who is this?" Steve seemed genuinely confused. "Hi, this is Richard, the guy you've been talking to for 2 and a half hours." Steve paused for a moment, "Who the fuck is this?!" Kit continued, "I've been scambaiting you for longer than you think. Is your name Steve Watson?" Steve hung up immediately. I was very confused, why did he reveal himself? Where is the chat? Kit tried calling him back several times and eventually, he picked up. It was all a storm of cursing and death threats from Steve and you could hear him smashing things while people in the call center screamed at him in another language. This continued for a few minutes until gun shots were heard. Kit was in shock and so was I, what had just happened?! There was silence on the phone after that. Kit apologized for the stream and the page closed.
I sat there for a moment, had I just heard a man kill himself, did he get shot by someone else or am I misinterpreting something? Not a minute later, I checked the twitch archives again and I could not find that livestream anywhere. I searched Google, Youtube and anywhere else for information on the subject and nobody seems to believe me. All I can do now is post my experience here and hope someone else knows what I'm talking about. Please contact me if you have any info about this.
