Logan's Last Video

The drama and controversy surrounding SuperMarioLogan and his "friends" on YouTube is one of the funniest youtuber dramas I had ever witnessed during my time on the internet being a fat bastard with a coke addiction. The funny ass theories ranging from Chilly being gold digger, to Lovell being a drug addict to Logan being mentally retarded, are basically the icings on the cake. However like all youtuber dramas, there comes the nasty story, or in this case, nasty ending.

This nasty ending I'm revealing to the internet at this point in time has a lot to do with the fact that May was the last month that Logan kept up his old YouTube channel with all of his old videos, because of him and his brother being sued by Nintendo for using the Mario characters in a derogatory way. That along with the fact that he probably wanted to distance himself away from his past so he could look ahead or some shit like that, I don't know, it's his own business.

As his (former) thumbnail maker, Logan asked me to make another thumbnail for yet another video he was about to post on one of his channels, this presumably being the final video saying goodbye to his old channel. I got paid at least $23 for each thumbnail, which to me is fair because as a side thing, making thumbnails is honestly pathetic and my real job in the real world gets me more money. And most of the time, Logan sent me the video so I could pin point which character was the most important and who should stand out in the picture. This being no different.

Watching the video was interesting as it wasn't anything like the videos on his main channel with the puppets. All it was, to put it bluntly, was a slideshow of Logan's snapchat pictures, of his left arm bleeding from seven self inflicted cuts as he was right handed. The slideshow led to different pictures as well, one being a half empty bottle of Smirnoff vodka lying on the floor, staining the carpet with Lance standing at the door. Other pictures having explicit captions, one reading "I'm going to kill myself and it's your fucking fault you loser".

Needless to say, I was surprised that he would've sent this to someone like me.

The next morning, he messaged me on Instagram, wholeheartedly apologising to me for sending me that slideshow. Realising how this was just childish and actually disgusting at this point, I decided to reply with "That's okay", and then I blocked him. Sounds like a bit of a dick move, but I was a hired gun and I was in no position to fasten myself to him so that my problem would be his problem.

He uploaded some normal video on his main channel and got someone else to do the thumbnail for him. It was uploaded at 11:23 EST.

At 18:23 I got a call from the police about him, explaining to me that he had committed suicide two hours ago and the operator on the phone asked me a few questions about whether or not I knew about his depression. Although I was shocked about it, I refused to comment about it until the operator said that I had no choice in the matter. I eventually told him about the slideshow Logan sent me with his self inflicted cuts on his left arm, and the other snapchat pictures in that slideshow. When they asked me "Did you screen record the video?", I told them "No because A. I do not want any part in anything to do with someone's depression, and B. I didn't think I should have.".

Three days later, I still have this mindset and I am very serious about it. Even after Logan's removal.

If anyone asks me about what happened between me and Logan, I'll still give off the same response I gave to the operator because I don't need that amount of stress in my life, especially when it comes from some stupid puppet show.
