Man versus Shadow

One time a man was alone in a 24 hour Walmart. It was very late (like 9:30). He was buying slim Jim's and twizzlers, when he heard a noise. out of the corner of his eye he saw a shadowy figure. He quickened his pace. The shadow breathed heavily. The man threw his skin jams at the shadow and started to run, zig zagging between aisles. The man ran toward the door, and saw the shadow took out a knife. The shadow's long arm stuck out and reached toward the man. The shadow was catching up. The man tripped on a giant sloom jimmied and fell to his knees. The shadow was close with the knife. The man got up and reached the door. He cried out in pain as he ran to the outside. The knife had cut deep, removing a large chunk.

The man shed a tear. The shadow had ruined his favorite sweater.
