Officer Jacobs was discovered in the corner of a cabin this morning. He had apparently set up a video camera to record himself, and we checked the tape. The first few hours were just of him sitting motionless, staring into space, with lack of emotion, blinking once every 30 seconds. Eventually he fell asleep, and then we could hear the faint sound of a door opening, followed by the camera being toppled over. Then there was almost complete silence, we couldn’t hear anything but a whisper describing unintelligible nonsense as the room got darker and darker...
