The Beat Saber Masacre

It was the first day after my birthday. (My birthday was on a Thursday and I had school so I had the party on Friday OK!) It was the best birthday party ever and now it was time for my favorite part. Present time! My super hot friend, Pokimane, was at the party and she gave me an Oculus Rift headset! I was so excited to play.

I put on the VR headset and I was transported into a virtual world. It was so cool! There was a game called Beat Saber! I put on a funky song and was having a blast slicing the blocks with my light sabers. After all of the fun was done and my arms were kind of tired, I took off my VR headset and set it down. I looked around and my entire village has been slaughtered! Who could have done this! Why was I the only one spared! I looked at my hands and I wasn't holding the VR controllers, I was actually wielding two real samurai swords covered in hyper-realistic blood.

This story is so scary because it doesn't end with the end. It has a literary device known as an open ending where it is up to the reader to decide how the village was killed.
