The Midnight Walk
i went for a walk in the woods last week. it was at midnight, which everyone knows is the time with the ghosts. anyway, i was walking. at midnight. it was midnight last week, and i was walking, because my sources told me that around midnight was when the ghosts came out, so i was out for a walk at midnight hoping to find one. it was dark, perhaps too dark to find any ghosts, but that was because it was midnight, and I was walking in the woods, which were typically pretty dark. if it wasn't for the fact that ghosts mostly came out at midnight (which was when i was walking), I would have picked a different time to walk, but because it was a good time to find ghosts, there I was, walking at midnight.
i thought i saw a ghost to my left, and i jumped with a gasp, but it was not ghost, it was a cat. i must have thought it was a ghost because i was tired, likely because it was midnight, and i was walking when i should have been sleeping. walking at midnight is a difficult task, because even though it's when ghosts are going to appear, you are also tired, so you don't feel like walking at midnight.
i did not have the problem, for i was out at midnight taking a walk. i was approaching the deep part of the woods, almost at the end of my midnight walk (fr those who don't understand I am referring to the walk I took at midnight) when i looked down at my arm and gasped
i was wearing a watch
and the watch said 1 am
it was not a midnight walk at midnight at all...
