The Spook Woods

Four days ago, I had the scariest experience this month. I live near a very creepy woods, every time you go in it, a light fog rolls in and glowing animal eyes appear everywhere. Locals call it "the Spook Woods" and hardly anybody goes in but for some reason, I went in.

It was sunset of Tuesday, April 14th and I decided to go in with nothing to record my experiences, no camera or anything. As soon as I walked in the fog began to roll in. But I realized something was wrong because the fog was a bit thicker than usual. The sun began setting fast and a few minutes after I walked in, it was completely dark but for some reason, there were bright lights all through Spook Woods. To my left, something sprinted past and hid behind a tree. Up ahead, I saw a few figures walking away from me. I tried to catch up but they were a little faster than me, it was just dark enough that I couldn't see who they were and the bright lights were behind me now. As I began running, I tripped over a big rock and landed flat on my stomach. Getting up, I realized the rock I had tripped on was a tombstone. I looked around and all around me were tombstones. I looked around and noticed figures all around me in this graveyard. Standing up to my feet, the moon suddenly came out from behind a cloud and I could see who these figures were. They were a vampire, a bed sheet ghost, a Frankenstien monster, a mummy, a witch on a broom stick with a black cat and a jack o lantern. And we did the Monster Mash.
