Unknown Call
I'm what you would call a 'Internet Nerd', I spend my time free from work exploring the internet and talking to my friends on Skype. I decided to go on 4chan one day and check it out, I was going through the first page of all the threads. What I came across was horrifying (other than the /b thread) I came across a post, the picture was the Skype logo but this time the colors were negative and a slight bit scary. I started to read the post, it read.
Hi my name is David Lerker, I spend my time on Skype and on the internet. What I have experienced is disgusting, I'm here to warn you before- before I die, I only have about five minutes. I started to get mail rapidly, one everyday. It was a count down from 10. When it reached 0, I received a call from a unknown number, the avatar was a dark grey background with a light grey question mark. I cannot reveal the rest of the information as it is to horrifying, He is here now... I must go
This was so shocking to me, is this guy dead now? I best be off to bed now, I have been on the bad side of the internet for way to long. I turned off my monitor and walked over to my bed. I lay there for half an hour staring at the ceiling till eventually I slowly. Slowly. Fell asleep.
[UPDATE:7:06AM] I have just woken up and checked my mail, guess what. I got a letter from a unknown address, the letter read, '10' So now I am scared, Is this some sort of a prank, If it is it isn't funny. Just STOP! Anyway, Im just going to carry on with my daily routine bye.
[UPDATE:20:01PM] Sorry for not updating for a while, my internet went down and my computer kept freezing, I have only just fixed it. I'm still getting the letters, today I got '3' please stop, I'm freaking out. This is so weird, I want to be able to sleep at night without staring at the ceiling wondering how I will die...
[UPDATE from mobile device:01:24AM] I think I'm going to die today, Its to early. HELP! Someone please just help, I'm so scared, I'm hearing noises downstairs, What should I do!?
[UPDATE:09:12AM] Okay, I seemed to have over-reacted, I just needed a few days away from the blog to calm down, Iv been of the internet for a few days and I have been very happy, except for... well, the last letter I received '0'. I guess Im dead soon. Iv been sitting at my computer waiting for the call.
[UPDATE:12:32PM] OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG! The call came. His voice was so sinister and he said to me 'I'm here right now, waiting for you to see me, I'm ready to attack and you don't even know how close I am, I am surprised you cannot hear me or see me through the tiny crack in your wardrobe, I can hear you blogging. So write your last blog, make it good and long, I might even interrupt'
[UPDATE:21:43PM] I guess this is goodbye, I keep hearing noises. I phoned the police but all they did was laugh at how stupid my story was, God I hate how stupid these police are, sometimes I just want to kick the sh... Hello Everyone it's me, MR, UNKNOWN. HAHAHAH! Bet you thought I wasn't real! WELL I AM! Are you scared? Does it frighten you that you could be next, Well let me warn you as you are my next victim. When you receive the letter open it, do not burn it or throw it away, if you throw it away or burn it or get rid of it in any way I will slice your throat and preserve your body parts in jars, Open the letter and you will get 10 days to do something about staying alive!
HAHAHAHAHA! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!
