For me they're not just comments.

Because of the massive loss of comments, it got knocked off the Top Rated Pages.

Also, the comments show the popularity that a story has.

Like, what's your first impression when you see a story that has 80 comments?

"Woah, this shit is popular, must be good or something"

When you see a story with 18 comments, you can't see the same thing.

Also, it also lost popularity in it's categories.

And what bothers me is that that's what Lolmasters was aiming for, even if he got bent, he still won.

Posting publicly about that raid on the forum really wasn't a good idea, if you say you've already gotten 20 people from outside of the wiki to do it, why bother getting banned that way?
