My mother and I were holding a seance so our dead fathers could come for dinner.
When neither showed up, ma broke down and cried. I told her maybe it was because they were actually not dead.
Ma then went to the basement to check their chopped-up bones. "Nah, they're as dead as our family dinner." She said.
Right at the moment, the police broke into our house and arrested us for murder. Turns out our dads did show up, just not to have dinner but to use the phone.
