The Twist Is Cannibalism

I'm coming out and saying it right now because once I make reference to meat, the supposed super tastiness of said meat, and vaguely spooky behavior of the cooks, you're gonna guess it anyway. Could I try to subvert your expectations? Sure, but I don't have the confidence for that. With any luck my writing ability will make the story enjoyable regardless, but don't count on it; I'm relying on the inherent creepiness of cannibalism to scare because I don't have the patience for pacing and building an unsettling atmosphere. Who do you think I am, Stanley Ellin?

Then a skeleton popped out, and we had deboned human for supper.
