LOLPasta's Fate

What happened to LOLPasta? They've been "temporarily closed by Miraheze" since March. Does anyone know?

The admin team were basically a bunch of edgelords and refused to delete anything that broke the Miraheze terms of service, meaning a ton of pages were rife with slurs, hate speech, and other unsavory elements. Just noticed this. It wasn't because of hate speech or slurs but mostly because many pages contained the sexualization of minors, usually played for 'laughs'... I also remember going through their site back in the Summer of 2022 and several pages were taken from books or sources that had them licensed under CC BY-NC, making them incompatible with Miraheze's license. I wanted to tell the Lolpasta admins about it but I figured they'd deal with it themselves sooner or later. Enten (talk) 00:58, 9 December 2023 (UTC)

I was mostly speculating, tbh, since that kind of content was a huge problem in the old TPW (iirc we deleted like 7,000 pages containing slurs at one point...) and afaik the lolpasta admins didn't really give a shit about it. There's this user I noticed on the recent changes. He makes creepypastas based on preschool shows that have poor grammar (one was a DVD boxset story, which is banned IIRC). He appears to be a logo kid, and even changed another story to include his logo brainrot. He also spams categories that don't exist, and leaves his stories unfinished. What should we do about this?
